Media Support
SPECOPS provides real-world Special Operations combat veterans for the TV and film industry. The SPECOPS Media Division is headed by Mykel Hawke, who has experience in over a dozen shows on screen and over two dozen behind the scenes. SPECOPS has over a decade of experience working with and in support of the media. We work with television, film, radio, and print media in all aspects of production. Idea and Concept Development

Talk to us about what you want to do and we’ll help you figure out how to do the impossible, how to push it to the limits and take it to the extremes, and do so safely and successfully. This is what we do for a living and no one does it better. We are Uncle Sam’s Extremists and we understand vision, imagination, and going beyond. We have experienced personnel in almost every extreme, dangerous, and risky endeavor ever undertaken and we bring this experience to the table for production.
Producing and Supporting Action and Adventure Activities
We know how to develop plans, do a recon, coordinate logistics, communications, transportation, emergency plans, evacuations, rescues, back-up plans, set up lodging, build and run base camps, work in war zones, high risk areas, remote regions, and any other extreme on the planet. SPECOPS can set up and run almost any adventure or action sequence you can think of and we’re exceptionally good at working with your experts to support the best action and adventure productions.
Set Medic, Field Hospitals, Supplies, and Evacuation

Just check out the section on our Medical Training and you’ll see why our Special Forces Medics are the best bang for the buck anywhere dangerous. For situations like some urban streets, remote like some far flung desert or mountains or unknown, or vast jungles, we can provide a highly skilled, certified, experienced, and very fit medic to travel with your prized cast and crew so they can do their job to the best of their ability while feeling secure and confident that if they are ill or injured, they will be well taken care of and not only survive, but be rescued and evacuated, whatever the case may be. We are flexible and will adapt for whatever your mission needs.
Set Security, Bodyguards for Casts, VIPs/Execs, and Set

SPECOPS provides set security, but not in the traditional way. We do not provide uniformed security guards. What we will do, is utilize our extensive operational security experience to make sure that every aspect of your production is secure in your shoot location, your crew and cast lodging, your transportation and movement, as well as all the planning for any exigency. Our security specialists can work as low-key bodyguards for talent and exec’s, as well as run all other aspects of security from top to bottom of your production. They incorporate your concerns and sensitivities, brief and prepare, and even train your people as/when needed.

Often our Security Specialists will have worked in that country or region, will speak the local languages, know about their customs, courtesies, traditions, and taboos. And they always ensure that coordination with U.S. Embassy and Military is conducted to ensure the best response for those worst-case scenarios such as coups and rebellions. They build rapport with host nation authorities to win heart and minds, which means you get coordinated support from local police, government officials, even local war lords, drug dealers, and guerrilla chiefs. When it comes to working on the fringe, we understand getting the mission done means looking out for your interests, and that means reading the lay of the land working with whomever is the potential protector and even working with the local threats in some cases, if it means your mission success and safety are achieved.
