Spec Ops Technology has a job opening for a Integration and Test Engineer to support our client in Europe.

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and challenging environment supporting a client whose mission is to develop cutting edge airborne technical solutions in C4ISR architectures. The Integration and Test Engineer will be part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting development, testing and life cycle support for airborne and ground based C4ISR systems.

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include a multitude of tasks such as:

  • System design and engineering, installation, testing, and integration of C4ISR systems (System of Systems).
  • Collaboration with hardware and software design teams to develop test/validation goals and objectives
  • Definition of test setups, identification and construction of specialized test environments to support system commissioning and testing
  • Commissioning of system level hardware/software functions spanning numerous different technology disciplines
  • Support sub-system teams for troubleshooting system level issues
  • Provide engineering documentation support
  • Provides feasibility of various approaches and makes recommendation(s)
  • Prepare and present briefings to internal management and customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering or related field. Advanced degree is considered a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, airborne and ground based C4ISR architecture design
  • Ability to integrate complex hardware and software systems
  • Experience working with computer hardware, operating system software and desktop applications with a specific concentration in one or more areas
  • Experience working with design principles and applications
  • Knowledge of system engineering methodologies
  • Strong communication skills to communicate systems proposals to management and customers and provide systems diagnosis and resolution for current systems
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel and team members

The C4ISR Systems Engineer will be part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting development, testing and life cycle support for airborne and ground based C4ISR systems.

  • Lead for the racking and cabling/wiring design of aircraft modification
  • Provide support to system integration of hardware and software components
  • Provide engineering documentation support
  • Provide site support to assist with problem resolutions
  • Provides feasibility of various approaches and makes recommendation(s)
  • Prepare and present briefings to internal management and customers

Qualifications
